2009-2010 CPCU Society Circle of Excellence


		Untitled Document I am pleased to announce that the Central Jersey Chapter has qualified for the 2009-2010 CPCU Society Circle of Excellence. Your chapter has achieved the Silver level of recognition in this comprehensive program. Congratulations! Thank you for your dedication of time and talent this past year. Please extend our congratulations to your leadership team and all chapter members who planned and participated in your many activities during the year. In August, your chapter’s 2009-2010 Silver Circle will be mailed to your 2010-2011 chapter president. Please insert your circle into the Circle of Excellence plaque you were sent previously and display it at chapter events. Make sure all your members are aware of this recognition and its significance. Plan time during your upcoming Conferment or I-Day program for a presentation ceremony. The Central Jersey Chapter will also be recognized at the Annual Meeting and Seminars in Orlando in a special Circle of Excellence display in the registration area and during the Circle of Excellence Recognition Luncheon. CPCU Society Retention Award

Chapters Recognized for Membership Retention and New Designee Conversion

Retaining and increasing membership is a critical goal for the Society.

Getting new designees involved is particularly important as they represent the long-term growth of our organization. Your chapter depends on member dues as a major source of your annual revenue. Kudos to all chapters for stepping up their membership efforts this year and for the chapters that excelled in this effort.

The 2010 Chapter Membership Incentive program is now complete. Chapter membership success was evaluated in two categories - general membership retention and new designee conversion. The first place chapter in each size category was recognized at the Leadership Summit and given a monetary award. The top five chapters in each size category will receive a Certificate and recognition in Society publications and at the Annual Meeting and Seminars in Orlando, Fla.

Your diligence in this campaign was impressive! Be sure to include membership growth, especially new designee conversion, on the agenda for your upcoming planning meetings. Let's do even better in 2011!

Central New Jersey Chapter Mission Statement

The Central Jersey Chapter of the CPCU Society is committed to meeting the career development and educational needs of New Jersey insurance professionals, so that they may serve others in a competent and ethical manner.

The Chapter promotes fellowship among its members through its monthly meetings, New Jersey All Industry Day (I-Day) in cooperation with the New Jersey Chapter of the CPCU, various “good works” projects, and coordinated seminars with the CPCU Society.
